These ultra-easy and quick Holiday Stracciatella Bites, served on crackers, feature crunchy pistachios and juicy pomegranate, making them delicious finger food for your Holiday table.

Want to make cute, festive bites without spending much time in the kitchen? Try these Holiday Stracciatella Bites with pomegranate kernels and salted pistachios! They’re a lovely mix of creamy, crunchy, and juicy—the perfect appetizer for a last-minute bite with a festive touch!
What is Stracciatella?
Stracciatella is a type of Gelato ice cream and a creamy buffalo milk fresh cheese from Italy. It’s the interior of Burrata cheese. It’s a creamy, delicate, and leaky cheese that melts on the tongue. You could also use the burrata and shred the outer layer to make Stracciatella. Its name, “straccia,” means shreds—perfect for the occasion!
A Festive touch

To make this minimal-effort and maximum-wow finger food, I’ve used crunchy green pistachios and ruby red pomegranate kernels to make this bite cheery for the holiday season. The inspiration for this recipe was this trendy Italian sandwich made with stracciatella, mortadella, and pistachio cream, which I highly recommend!
The salty pistachio will add a nutty touch and crunch, while the pomegranate will add a juicy bite to the appetizers. This is a true crowd-pleaser!
These holiday crackers come in fun, festive shapes and feature a center cavity that perfectly holds this leaky cheese.

Make with the Kids
Get the kids involved by having them sprinkle the pistachios and pomegranate arils. It’s fun to bring them into the kitchen during the holidays! Plus, the chances of trying this new food are higher if they make it themselves and know what it consists of.
