Crunchy Honey Nut Clusters (No Oats)
This crunchy, oat-free blend of seeds, nuts, honey, and coconut oil creates a naturally sweet and satisfying granola alternative. Perfect for yogurt bowls, breakfast toppings, or snacking straight from the jar.

This Honey Nut Crunch recipe is a medley of my favourite nuts, with wholesome seeds, golden honey, and a touch of coconut oil. The magic happens thanks to the natural binding power of ground flaxseed and chia seeds working alongside the honey, creating clusters that are partly like a delicious bark. The result? A naturally sweet, incredibly crunchy mix that’s perfect for sprinkling over yogurt bowls, adding to smoothie bowls, or honestly, just eating straight from the jar when no one’s looking.

Nut and Seed Breakdown
Cashews are rich in magnesium, zinc, and iron, supporting energy, immunity, and bone health.
Flaxseeds provide plant-based omega-3s, fibre, and lignans that aid digestion, heart health, and hormone balance. Grinding them is the best way to get the most of their nutritional benefits and bind the clusters.
Chia seeds contain fibre, calcium, and antioxidants, promoting satiety, hydration, and strong bones.
Sunflower seeds deliver vitamin E, selenium, and protein, boosting skin health, immunity, and energy.
Sesame seeds contain calcium, iron, and lignans that support bone strength and cholesterol balance.
Pumpkin seeds supply magnesium, zinc, and antioxidants, benefiting heart health, immunity, and inflammation control.

Making it Stick
The secret to these bark-like clusters lies in the natural binding power of your ingredients working together. Ground flaxseed acts as a fantastic natural glue, creating a structure that helps the clusters hold their shape beautifully. Meanwhile, the chia seeds work their own binding magic, swelling slightly and helping to cement all those nuts and seeds together. As the honey caramelizes on the bottom during baking, it creates an almost candy-like base that enhances the bark effect, giving you satisfying chunks that break apart with the perfect crunch.
